One of the UK's leading family-owned private hospitality companies, Glendola own and operate 11 pubs and music venues alongside five restaurants and bars. Recruitment activity for their portfolio extends to finding talent for their Head Office, too. Each business area has their own recruitment needs, and previously, individual venues were responsible for their own recruitment advertising. We advised Glendola to consolidate their efforts and unify their outward-facing recruitment communications. This needed to be done in a way that would be easy for teams to follow whilst also ensuring consistent imagery, messaging and respect for their Employer Brand.

After a technical overhaul of the website, we integrated a Social Ad Creator function. This would allow specifically designed advert templates to utilise information from jobs currently listed on their website. From this information, new creative and functional adverts can be created. Any advert made via the Social Ad Creator is available for download in the preferred social channel’s corresponding specs. Whilst the written content is variable, we made sure the designs were consistent. Users of the site can create adverts with various content, on-demand and at speed, without compromising Glendola’s Employer Brand.

Showcasing the benefits of streamlining and consolidating recruitment advertising, Glendola’s Social Ad Creator has been well received, and internal staff are utilising the new function to showcase vacancies across all the brand’s social channels. The convenience and ease of the creator have meant that vacancies can be live quickly with the Employer Brand shining through all comms, ultimately attracting the right candidates.
