Get Living
Alongside a ‘check-in’ survey to understand how the whole team were actually feeling (giving an opportunity to anyone struggling with the new ways of working to voice their concerns) we set about designing an engagement pack which met the brief of ‘supportive, caring mixed with a little fun’. We had to take into account possible delays in deliveries, limited access of stock and the practicalities of delivering the packs to individuals’ homes. So, taking all of these factors into consideration, what could fit in the packs, be engaging and communicate those key themes?
Branded packs which incorporated a mix of collateral from seeds to grow, bespoke colouring imagery and pencils to chocolate; there was something for everyone. Also included was a personal note from the CEO to support the key messages with a great big ‘thank you’. The packs were sent in boxes specifically designed to fit through letterboxes, so as to not cause a problem with delivery.
120 boxes were delivered directly to the whole of the Get Living workforce, including those on maternity leave, across the UK. The packs were very positively received with many employees sharing theirs on social media, with messages such as these:
“I was surprised to receive a care package from my new employer with a personal message from Rick and the team. At such an uncertain time, the value that these small gestures carry is priceless.
I never thought I would revert to colouring a picture in my adult years but such a calming activity, helping to keep my mind off the current pressures. Still have two more rooms to design! Thank you Get Living!”
“Incredibly proud to work amongst a wonderful set of people who have shown such great spirit, togetherness and humour in abundance recently. Huge credit and thanks to Rick and the whole team.”
