National Milk Records - Values Launch

NMR are an organisation in transformational change. To that end, we’d already helped NMR at the start of their journey in defining the mission and with a benchmark engagement survey and action plan. The next critical step was to define and launch the values – the guiding principles that shape how they work individually and collectively to deliver the mission and vision.
 
We then had to launch them effectively to the managers who would be the pivotal owners and drivers of change and embedding the values in the workplace.

We ensured that the ‘how’ was authentic, aspirational in the right way, would be understood and genuinely inclusive. If we could frame it properly – and speak to their strong purpose as an organisation- then the values would be fully embraced and lived. Managers had to believe and commit after all.
 
We gathered the Managers together in one location for a 24 hour conference where the agenda set out the market drivers and potential, where our strategy could make an impact, our mission and the ‘how’ we would succeed – the values. We reinforced why values help success happen and differentiate us from the competition and then engaged the Managers in a journey of their own – a competitive game, The Milk Race- where success relied on deploying the NMR values at every stage from planning and execution  to collaboration and achievement

A great piece of work. More importantly, work that delivered in terms of truly effective comms and engagement around the change journey. Happy and energised managers who could go back to their constituencies and make change happen.
